Description: Performed the following technical services:

  • For Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) Terminal C, reviewed airport landside traffic patterns on airport approach roadways, ramps, curbs, recirculation, TNC areas, bus transit area, etc to identify deficiencies and improvements including cellphone lot guidance, high-crash risks due to traffic weaving, pedestrians crossings, repurpose of curb spaces for TNC, etc.
  • For John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), reviewed crash records for the exit ramp to Belt Parkway, identified crash causes and provided mitigations including signing, marking, speed control devices.
  • For Lincoln Tunnel, reviewed crash records on the inbound helix ramp and approach roadways, reviewed existing signing, marking, and traffic patterns. Identified crash causes and provided potential mitigations including signing, marking, speed feedback signs, rumble strips, with pros and cons.
  • For George Washington Bridge, performed traffic safety review at high-crash locations at various ramps on both west and east ends, identified safety concerns and deficiencies, proposed mitigations including signing, marking, lighting, roadside design, etc.
