Description: We conducted this study for the Town of Leesburg, Virginia. Existing noise levels were monitored during the peak hours. The existing traffic volumes were projected to the design year. STAMINA model was used to predict noise levels at the adjacent residential and commercial uses. Noise mitigation measures were developed to meet the Town’s criteria. This included the design of a noise barrier for residential uses using OPTIMA. The noise barrier has been constructed.
