We have worked on the series of SHA BCS statewide traffic data collection contracts to collect traffic data for Maryland. The programs included portable machine counts, manual turning movement counts, vehicle classification counts, lane occupancy counts, vehicle occupancy counts, license plate survey, queue length measurement, origin-destination survey, travel time/speed and delay measurements, transit ridership counts, traffic control observance counts, etc. Data collected was provided in hard copy format and in electronic format. Digital photographs of site locations, drawings of intersection schematics and capacity/levels of service using MDOT SHA procedures were also submitted.
