Description: In this award-winning project that added a new metro rail station at an economically underdeveloped urban neighborhood, Endesco prepared Traffic Control Plans (TCP) to enable construction of the new WMATA bridge extensions and Metropolitan Branch Trail Bridge over M Street and Florida Avenue. Endesco also performed streetlight design including photometric analysis, duct bank runs, conduit, pole, fixture and luminaires, in compliance with relevant DDOT, NEC, AASHTO and IESNA guidelines and requirements. Endesco also designed the traffic signs and pavement marking for the project, based on MUTCD and DDOT standards.
